Bit humid out, felt a little bit like running through treacle this evening!
I decided to admire my legs in my running shorts when I got back this evening. I have often complained about my manly calves, and muscly knees. The harder I train the bigger they seem to get. Also well defined calves are quite hard to shave. There are contours and corners where there is normally just smooth, slightly squishy flesh.
Today I noticed that as well as acquiring bigger calf muscles, my thighs seem to be slimming down. I'm a little concerned that if I keep going at this rate, I'm going to have HUGE calves, and no thighs.
I know I should be proud that my body is so strong and well defined. Mostly though I'm a bit concerned that I might be starting to look a little bit weird. Might stick to tights and trousers for a while, but it's not going to stop me running!
